Munroe Science Building | Wesleyan College - Macon, GA
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Wesleyan College expanded its academic core with the Munroe Science Building—the first major academic facility constructed on campus in more than 30 years. Designed in alignment with the original 1928 master plan by Walter and Weeks, the building occupies a prominent central site overlooking the main green, thoughtfully integrated among the campus’s historic Georgian Revival structures. The building features state-of-the-art classrooms and teaching and research laboratories, along with a greenhouse for field biology studies and an outdoor astronomy deck, creating dynamic learning environments that connect theory with hands-on exploration.
