Lake Tobesofkee Phases 1 & 2 | Macon, GA

Macon-Bibb County undertook renovations at Lake Tobesofkee to enhance its appeal for residents and visitors, with $1.3 million in SPLOST funding supporting upgrades across Claystone Park, Sandy Beach, and Arrowhead Park. Phase 1 included new guardhouses at park entrances, a replacement ranger station at Claystone Park, and restroom facilities at Sandy Beach and Claystone beaches, all completed in six months. With Phase 1 coming in under budget, our team collaborated with park staff on Phase 2, adding four pickleball courts, enclosing and renovating pavilions, upgrading bathrooms, and replacing three picnic shelters.
