Dunwody/Beeland, Architects, Inc. is among the oldest architectural firms in the State of Georgia.  Founded in 1915 by W. Elliott Dunwody, Jr., this professional office today boasts of a multi-disciplinary practice perpetuated by the late Mr. Dunwody’s direct heirs and others.  It has been incorporated since 1968 as a “C” corporation.  In its early years, the practice was primarily residential, small commercial, and religious, but it has steadily grown to encompass all types of architectural design ranging from small offices to large complexes on multi-acre sites.  The firm also concentrates on work in the historic, educational, medical, and industrial sectors.

The architects at Dunwody/Beeland, Architects, Inc. have over 100 years of cumulative experience in designing and overseeing the rehabilitation of historical buildings.  This experience includes the rehabilitation and modernization of buildings for their original design use as well as adapting the structures for a new and higher use.  

The staff currently numbers 6 with a core of two registered architects and one registered interior designer, all of whom have a total of more than 100 years in the practice of architecture.
